Leave Every Meeting With Clean, Complete Notes

By buy-my-agent

Overview

Meeting notes end up messy or forgotten because you're either typing frantically or not writing anything at all — Granola lets you jot fragments and fills in the rest from what was actually said.

Use Granola to turn your rough meeting notes into clean, structured notes and summaries — no recording bot required.

Give it: Just your usual rough notes, typed during the meeting (keywords, decisions, questions) — Granola also listens to the meeting audio from your computer in the background. It does: Transcribes the meeting's audio in real time (no bot joins the call), then combines that transcript with your rough notes to produce clean, structured, Notion-style notes after the meeting; the "Ask Granola" feature lets you query past meetings or draft follow-up emails. You receive: Polished meeting notes and summaries, organized and searchable, shortly after the call ends. Next: Share notes with collaborators if needed, ask follow-up questions about past meetings, or use notes to draft emails and next steps. It does not: Store meeting audio — audio is transcribed in real time and then discarded; only the notes/transcript text is kept. It also doesn't join calls as a visible bot.

Best for: Solo operators and small teams on Mac, Windows, or iOS who already take some notes during calls and want AI to expand and clean them up — especially 1:1 meetings.

Not for: Meetings where participant notice or consent cannot be obtained, high-stakes verbatim legal records, or organizations that cannot use US-hosted cloud processing.

You'll know it worked when: You end up with a clean, organized meeting summary that captures what was actually discussed — with much less typing than doing it manually.

Capabilities

  • ✓AI-enhanced meeting notes, real-time transcription without a visible bot, and (on paid tiers) team workspaces and API access.

Creator-provided example — not verified performance

I only jotted a few bullet points during my client call — can you turn that into proper notes?
Yes — I combine your bullets with what was said during the call to produce a full structured summary, including decisions made and follow-up items.

Questions or a refund request? Message the creator privately — they'll reply to your email.

Privacy

Privacy: Granola says it does not store meeting audio: it transcribes in real time on macOS/Windows or uses temporarily cached audio on iOS, then stores transcripts and notes. Notes are private by default and stored in a US-hosted AWS VPC with encryption at rest and in transit. Granola may train on anonymized data, but any user can opt out in Settings; third-party AI providers are not allowed to train on the data.
